- Sai Shankar Vidyashala was established in 1992 by Dharmadarshi N C Nanaiah who is also the founder trustee of People’s Trust, an NGO. This NGO had adopted 18 villages in and around Sriramanahalli, North Bengaluru in 1982. The objective of the NGO was people development in the drought hit areas of North Bengaluru.
- The school follows the syllabus laid down by the Karnataka State Board. It offers classes from LKG and UKG all the way to the 10th Grade and conducts classes in both, English and Kannada Medium.
- The school has around 570 children in the primary and secondary sections. It is a co-educational school and situated at Sai Sriramanahalli, 26 Kilometers from Bengaluru on the Yelahanka – Doddaballapur road, to the North of Bangalore.
- The school has an average performance of 85% and above in the 10th Grade results, which is the highest score in the Rajankunte area. There have also been many individual students who have either scored centum or 90% in individual subjects, out of a total aggregate of 90% and above.
