TREP started out in 1991 as the Tribal Residential Education Program. Their first students were 4 boys from a tribal village who had absolutely no educational background. With great difficulty, these 4 boys passed their schooling. These boys provided inspiration to the other children and parents in the area, which made them join the program too.
In 2006, TREP became Total Residential Education Program, reflecting their mission to provide a more holistic approach to learning.
Sai Shankar Vidyashala aims to provide good quality education to those who cannot afford it or don’t have the means to acquire it. We believe that every child has some unique quality within them. Our main mission is to identify that quality, hone it and help bring it out in them.
We strive to provide good quality learning and education in not only academics, but also in basic values, life skills, faith and devotion. Balanced and holistic learning is the foundation of all our teachings.
